DIGHTON-Keith Hayden, 75, passed away at home surrounded by his family on January 1, 2023. He was the loving husband of Deborah (Gouveia) Hayden, with whom he shared 33 years of marriage.
Keith was born in Taunton and was the son of the late Charles Hayden and Thelma (Reed) Hayden.
Mr. Hayden was a 1966 graduate of Taunton High School and went on to serve his country honorably in the US Coast Guard as an Engineman 3rd Class Petty Officer. After his service in the Coast Guard, Keith went on to train as a master plumber, a job he held most of his life. Keith enjoyed skiing, auto racing and sailing and he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Keith was preceded in death by parents, his brothers Bryan and Warren Hayden.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Keith Reed Hayden II and his wife Rachel, his daughter Melissa Hayden-Jamesonand Tracy Capeau and her husband Donald, son, William MacArthur and his wife Christina and brother in law Richard Gouveia; siblings, Janet Hathaway and her husband Francis and Carol Brouthers; several nieces and nephews, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 9am-11am in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton.
Prayers and words of remembrance will begin at 11am.
Burial with military honors will follow in the Fox Cemetery, Berkley.
