NORTH ATTLEBORO- Lu Kim, 85, passed away peacefully at Garden Place Healthcare in Attleboro on December 4, 2022.
Mrs. Kim was born in Kandal, Cambodia, and was the daughter of the late Try You and Ngy Seng. Mrs. Kim emigrated to the United States in 1982 and settled in the Attleboro area with her family. She was a devout Christian and a longtime member of the Faith Alliance Church, and she cared deeply for her family.
Mrs. Kim is survived by her children, Kimly Chea and his wife Jessica and Sophon Chea and his wife Keang all of North Attleboro. She was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren, Kevin Chea and his spouse Brooke, Philip Chea, Josie Chea and his spouse Danille, Kathleen Chea, Amy Shea and her spouse Justin, and Kenneth Boutin-Chea and his spouse Brynn Boutin-Chea; a great-grandmother to Elliana, Dominic and Isla Chea and Oliver Boutin-Chea, and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Touch Kim, Khy Kim, Sruy Kim, and Ngor Kim.
Our family would like to invite relatives and friends to attend a Wake & Reception on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 4-7 pm in the Foley-Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main St., Attleboro, MA.
Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Foley-Cook Hathaway Funeral Home, with Prayers and Words of Remembrance beginning at 10am
A Burial ceremony will follow at the Woodlawn North Purchase Cemetery, 825 North Main St., Attleboro, MA.
