Martha A. (Pavao) Mello, age 93, of Somerset, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. Born in Somerset, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Medeiros) Pavao and beloved wife of Richard Mello of 64 years. She enjoyed baking, cooking, playing cards and bingo, making puzzles, farming with her family and traveling the world with her husband.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children: Mary Mello, Peter Mello, Elizabeth Mello, Michael Mello, Catherine Clancy (husband Kevin), Joseph Mello, James Mello and Barbara Mello, grandchildren: Amanda, Caitlin, Marcus, Isaac, Samantha, Timothy and Liam.
Visitation for Martha will take place on Saturday January 7, from 8:30-9:30AM at the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals 900 Buffinton St., Somerset with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish at St. Patrick’s Church 306 South St., Somerset. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset.
