Ms. Patricia Amaral, 77 of New Bedford passed away peacefully Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Warren Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Warren, RI.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late John and Hortense (Paiva) Amaral, she was a lifelong resident of the city and graduate of New Bedford High School and communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Patricia worked in the Insurance industry for 30 years and later at AT&T for nine years until her illness. She enjoyed cake decorating in her leisure time.
She is survived by her sister in law, Kathy Amaral of Dartmouth and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Patricia was the sister of the late John and Dennis Amaral, Elsie Benevides and Hazel Rapoza.
A Memorial mass will be Celebrated Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 10:30am in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, New Bedford. Interment in St.John Cemetery, New Bedford will take place at a later date. Arrangements are by the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven.
