Sheila A. Procknik, 83, passed away on December 28, 2022. Sheila was born in Taunton and was the daughter of the late Joseph Tetlow and Margaret (Grammel) Tetlow.
Sheila was a well respected teacher and spent most of her career at the Elizabeth Pole Elementary School, where she dedicated her time to the betterment of every student she taught. Sheila truly loved the children she taught and in her spare time was able to tutor any child that she could help. Faith and family came above all else for Sheila and she was a longtime member of St. Jude Church. She cherished the time she spent with her family and especially loved going to all of her grandchildren’s events.
Sheila is survived by her children, Kristin Hebert and her husband Scott of Taunton and Sean Westgate of Everett; grandchildren, Kyle, Andrew, Kimberly, Tami, Joey, Amanda, Jared and Josh; great grandchildren, Mila, Max, Brynn, Silas, Jaxson and Hannah; step children, Julie Sprague and Wayne Procknik and a large loving extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 4-7pm in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton.
Prayers will begin at 6:30pm in the funeral home.
Cremation to follow.
