Walter “Wally” J. Kullas Jr. 77, of Middleboro, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022 in the Hannah B Shaw Home in Middleboro. He was the devoted and loving husband to the late Elaine (Lima) Kullas.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of Walter Kullas Sr. and the late Gail (Brookings) Kullas. After high school graduation, Wally went on to work as an electrician and retired as the electrician at Morton Hospital in Taunton. He was an active member of the Fish and Game Club in the Middleboro/Lakeville area. Wally loved the outdoors and enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting with his life long friends. He enjoyed traveling the world, some of his favorite trips were to Alaska and Montana for hunting. Most of all Walter loved to spend time with his family. He could often be found at a soccer game or at a softball or baseball field cheering on his grandchildren. Wally will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Walter is survived by his children; Dean Kullas and his wife Alyce of Taunton, Steven Kullas of Taunton, Carolyn Pelletier and her companion Kenneth Saady of Virginia and his step daughters; Kerri Crowley and her husband Scott of Taunton and Kristin Lopes and her husband Brandon of Taunton. His former wives; Shirley Hogan and Sandra Kullas. Wally was the proud grandfather to; Jeffrey, Matthew, Ashley, DJ, Dylan, Abbie, Ryan, Kaylee, Madison and Sophia. Great grandfather to Darla Kullas. He was the brother to Gail Brookings and the late Robert Kullas.
Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Thursday, January, 5, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Crapo Hathaway Funeral Home 350 Somerset Ave. Taunton, MA 02780. Burial will be private.
