William W. “Billy” Morris, age 24, of Taunton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 2, 2022. Born in Taunton, Billy was the beloved son of Heather Burgess and William Morris.
He LOVED collecting sports cards and was a avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan his entire life. Billy loved trying new foods and traveling to explore new places. He truly appreciated and enjoyed the simple things in life, such as cooking on the grill, sitting around the fire pit, and spending time with friends and family. Billy would do anything to make others happy. He had a big heart, which he shared with everyone he cared about, including his dog, Hootie, (“Dean”).
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Jalen Morris, and his niece, Jaylah Morris, He was preceded in death by his beloved “Grammy,” Christine Burgess. He is also survived by the love of his life: Ava Skinner, his grandparents, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and step-relatives.
Calling hours for William will be held on Thursday, December 15th from 4-7 PM at the Crapo Hathaway Funeral Home 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton. His funeral will take place on Friday December 16th, 10 AM from the funeral home and 11 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 249 Whittenton St., Taunton. Burial will be private.
