Priyanka Chopra Jonas is putting her own spin on the classic french manicure. On Jan. 11, while returning from a night out in London, the actor was spotted with a V-cut french manicure that will immediately be taking up space on our Pinterest boards.
Chopra’s nails were filed into a coffin shape and painted a pink shade for the base. Then, using a red color, two diagonal lines were drawn on the sides of each nail. Instead of them meeting in the middle or curving as they traditionally do, they connect at the very tip of the nail, making what looks like the letter “V.”
The V-cut french manicure is just one of the countless offshoots of the ever-flattering french tip. Other variations of the nail art include the invisible french, chrome french, and shadow french, and that’s only the tip of the iceberg. Chopra paired her nails with a plunging gold dress and a deep red lip.
