Isaiah R. Laplante, age 19, of Somerset, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 30, 2022. Born in Framingham, he was the beloved son of Gerard and Melissa (Felizberto) Laplante. Isaiah was a 2021 graduate of Somerset-Berkley Regional High School. and a larger than life kind of guy who’s smile lit up the room. He was passionate about becoming a rapper some day and rapped under the name “Love Slaya.” His laughter was infectious and everyone who knew him loved him,
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother: Christopher Laplante, nana: Earleen Gwozdz, Uncle Don and Auntie Sue, best buddy and cousin Tyler who he had a very special bond with, his dogs: Maize, and Millie and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
His private funeral arrangements are under the care of Hathaway Community Home for Funerals 900 Buffinton St. Somerset. A celebration of life for Isaiah will take place at a later date. Please check back for details.
