Lisa A. (Murphy) Reynolds, 71, of Swansea passed away on January 13, 2023, after an admirable battle with leukemia. Lisa was born on March 4, 1951 to the late James C. and Pauline (O'Neil) Murphy. She was born in Fall River, then moved to Swansea as a child, where she went on to reside for the remainder of her life. Lisa was a graduate of Our Lady of Fatima High School in Warren, RI, followed by time at the University of Rhode Island in the pharmacy program. She went on to marry Thomas Reynolds, a lifelong resident of Swansea, with whom she recently celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary. Together, they dedicated their work lives to Reynolds Pharmacy and Reynolds Pharm. 
Lisa was the proud parent of Michael Reynolds of Swansea and Megan (Reynolds) McMahon, also of Swansea, and mother-in law to Kelly (Gillick) Reynolds and John McMahon. She was adored grandparent to Lauren, Jack, and William. She was pre-deceased by her brother, James Murphy, her family dog, Maddie, and quite recently, by her brother-in-law, John Reynolds. 
She is survived by her sisters, Joanne Murphy, Catherine Murphy, and Deborah Valcourt. Combining the Murphy and Reynolds families, she was the beloved aunt to over three dozen nieces and nephews. Finally, Lisa and her husband have been blessed with a large circle of friends who were considered family. 
Calling hours for Lisa will take place on Friday, January 27th from 4-8PM at the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals 900 Buffinton St. in Somerset. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday January 28th at 10AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish at St. Louis de France Church, 56 Buffinton St., Swansea. Burial is private. In honor of Lisa, donations may be made to the following organizations: Reynolds Family scholarship fund of Joseph Case High School in the Swansea public school system Case High Scholarship Trust P.O. Box 33 Swansea  02777 or the Izzy Foundation of Providence to support families affected by childhood cancer.
