Robert H. Gamble, age 94, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 with his loving family by his side. Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Charles C. and Hazel B. (Hammond) Gamble and husband of the late Doris L. (Desrosiers) Gamble. Robert was a United Sates Army Veteran of WWII, and a Chairman/Distributor for PiM Publications Inc. He was a cancer survivor who enjoyed reading, watching movies, listening to classical music, going for walks, was New York Giants, New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and Georgia University fan.
He is survived by his daughter: Joyce Hicks (husband Donald), grandson: Robert J. Hicks (wife Sarah) sister: Barbara Santos, and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Calling hours for Robert will take place on Sunday, December 18, from 1-4 PM at the Hathaway Home for Funerals 1813 Robeson St. Fall River, 02720. His funeral service will take place on Monday, December 19 at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
